SIGNED/INSCRIBED BY DEAN KOONTZ ON TITLE PAGE - SIGNED DIRECTLY ON THE PAGE (NOT VIA AN ATTACHED BOOKPLATE): "TO DON -- FROM A WRITER ONLY HALF AS STRANGE AS THE CHARACTERS IN HIS BOOKS! DEAN KOONTZ 11/21/95"

Book is unread with no creased page corners (couple of small drop spots at bottom gutter to one page), tight spine, tiny erased spot to top right on inside board otherwise clean endpapers free of any erasures, no former owner's markings or used book store stickers inside, no remainder stamps to outer page edges, no foxing to pages or endpapers, hint of age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges (no foxing), page edges not starting to age yellow at edges, no wear to board edges, board corners, or spine tips (common defect with this sprayed-on color used on the boards), tiny bumped board corner, no hinge splitting, faint spine crease, no soiling or discoloration to boards.

Dust jacket has no tearing, chipping or creasing, hint of wear to spine tips, no wear to front flap crease (just a hint at flap crease corners), hint of edge wear along top edge on rear panel, no spine darkening (common defect with this DJ), no foxing, no spine fading (another common defect with this DJ), no soiling or staining, no dust rubbing, no color rubbing (common defect with this DJ).

Overall a FINE- book in FINE- condition dust jacket (price clipped) of a rare Dean Koontz first printing hardcover book AND SIGNED BY DEAN KOONTZ. I have a number of other U.S. and U.K. Dean Koontz 1st printing hardcover/paperback/magazine appearances up for sale.
