160 page book of first line quotations from famous (then) poetical works. Errata slip tipped in and 16 page publishers catalogue at read dated November 1882. The title page has offset overall browning the rest of the book is near fine, the cloth boards and gilt titles are all very good+, slim small octavo. *States the book was originally published in 1855 and this 3rd edition is enlarged and corrected and as the other edition was by another publisher, this is really a first, or first thus. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
