Blindstamped brown cloth. 22 pages of ads in the rear. The last ad refers to 1858 in the future tense. As in coming up. So this book was likely published in 1857. No foxing. Hinges are fine. Endpapers are additional ads for Peterson books. Fore corners are just rubbed through the cloth. 1/8" missing of the cloth at the top of the spine. The gold lettering and game is dulled on the spine. Very tight and square. No marks. Very good plus.
