Fair plus condition: lettering on spine rubbed away so title is illegible; general scuffing to binding; head of spine worn; corners of binding pushed in a little; hinges good; a couple of plates pasted inside front board; pencil gift inscription inside dated June-15 56 [1856]; also a red pencil inscription dated 1881; some toning in front matter and endpapers. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
