A new edition of the Tudor Edition of Shakespeare's complete works published in 1964 on the 400th anniversary of his birth. No DJ. Red cloth covers with gold lettering and decoration. 16 color interior illustrations by Eric Fraser. Gold gilt to the top edge of the pages. Very light wear. Two tiny soil dots on the fore edge of the pages. The interior is clean and tight. A neat handwritten note stating "London, May 23, 1864" on the front paste down and "Bought in London, May 23, 1864" on the RFEP. A very good or better copy. A thick heavy book that may require additional postage.
