This issue contains Covent Garden in the 17th century + Traditions of Glamis Castle + Roman Vase found at Dorchester with woodcut + Russian Easter Ceremonies in England + Did Spenser Die in Dublin? + Postures of The Dead + Letter sent in by R. S. Hawker (Vicar of Morwenstow on Cornwall + Chinese Mythology on Porcelain + Nurenberg mask for Punishment (with woodcut), etc. Some small woodcuts accompany articles. Disbound from a volume but would have originally been a single issue yearly at the time, title page and headed monthly titles also. VG.

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
