Slim quarto [26 cm] Stapled white and blue printed wraps, with a bright pictorial dust wrapper. Unbound. Lacking the Spartan binding. The wraps and dust wrapper are lightly stained (the majority of the staining is found on the verso of the wrapper), and there are a handful of short closed chips and closed tears in the edges of the dust wrapper. Illustrated by Beni Montresor. Montresor received the Caldecott Medal for the best illustrations produced in the year 1965 with his illustrations for Beatrice Schenk De Regniers' May I Bring a Friend?
