(Published serially in "Blackpool Gazette-News" February-June 1916 with chapters in "Liverpool weekly Post" and " My Magazine" (London) 1916. A journey around "The Fylde" and "Over Wyre" in Lancashire. Pictorial boards have light wear to extremities, bumping to top and tail of spine, toning to backstrip and one or two tiny marks. Spotting to page-block. Small date stamp to blank end paper and owners name has been tippexed out. (see image). Binding is solid with no cracks. Book has slight musty odour. There is foxing to text pages throughout, quite heavy in places. Plates are generally clean. i-xi, pp287, advertisement page. There is a total of 33 plates including tissue-guarded frontis and fold-out map opposite page 1, all as called-for. Overall good. No jacket. Seldom seen for sale.
