First Edition. 256 pp. Octavo. Original red cloth. Gilt title on spine. All edges trimmed. Booksellers sticker on the front pastedown. Original yellow dustwrapper with red lettering. Jacket unprice clipped, but with minor wear to edges and 1cm closed tear to top front edge. Jacket is in overall very good plus condition. Text is fine with no soiling, clean and square. A collection of 24 of Aiken's most popular tales of horror and suspense for adult readers.
