A light-hearted look at the annual migration of snow-escaping seniors to the Rio Grande Valley. South Padre resident and respected author, Alan C. Tibbetts was a Green Beret in Vietnam, but says "That was a picnic compared to trying to get into a good restaurant during the Winter Texan season in the Rio Grande Valley."
