The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, with the spine faded and torn along the edges. Minor damp marks on boards- not affecting the text. Despite this, the boards are strong and square. Internally, there is light tanning throughout. Foxing but there are no markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are neat, crisp and complete. The binding is secure.
