Sir Henry Rider Haggard was a British writer specialising in romantic adventure novels often in exotic settings, predominantly Africa, and is considered the father of the 'lost world' literary genre. In publisher's original variant red cloth binding with blind titles on front board and gilt on spine. Externally, very smart and bright; spine slightly faded. Minor bumping to extremities. Faint offsetting on rear free end paper. Internally, firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Very Good Indeed.
