Book Condition, Very Good: Bumping and wear to the binding's back strip tale as well as corners. A tear in the binding's rear board, creasing also. Elaborate blind stamping remains in wonderful shape, and is now protected by a plastic slipcover. Top of text block stained by dust, marks elsewhere but mostly clean, pages well preserved for the book's age. Faint foxing through endpapers, a tear into edge of frontispiece. Otherwise pages are excellent. Clean and tidy, tightly bound. Other illustrations are immaculate.
