Price-clipped jacket shows a good-sized dampstain to front panel and flap -- staining mainly visible to interior, but with some external cockling to front panel and running / separation to laminate along front fold; jacket also rubbed along edges and corners, with a vertical crease to rear flap. Boards and textblock unaffected by dampstaining, showing just some bumping at top corners and spine ends. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Triptych of novellas by the author of The Second Sex, each an examination of a different facet of female vulnerability: aging, loneliness, rejection. Seller Inventory # 28540
