Faint vertical stain on the rear board, else near fine in very attractive, near fine dustwrapper with a few very small nicks and tears and a couple of very faint stains on the rear panel. Inscribed by the author: "To my friend Fred D. Stahl with sincere regards from Howard Rockey. 3/5/'24." Popular cabaret singer has a hidden past which creates havoc in her love life. Basis for the well-regarded but now lost 1924 Phil Rosen silent film with Irene Rich, Ricardo Cortez, and Clara Bow. A lovely copy of a scarce title.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Our $10 rate is for UPS or Priority Mail. Our $5.50 rate is media mail which can take a week or two, or a month or two (rarely, but has happened).
