Terms of sale
All books subject to prior sale, though we do our best to update daily. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and most checks.
Domestic PAYPAL USERS: for fastest service, please log into your PayPal account and send payment to bookworks(at)tds(dot)net. Selecting the PayPal option on Abebooks does NOT mean a payment has been made! In the unlikely event the book is unavailable, we will issue a prompt refund. For international orders, we will send an invoice with accurate shipping charges.
All books are guaranteed to be as described and are returnable with prior notice. PLEASE NOTE: Books ordered by third party sellers to be shipped to their buyer are NOT returnable. We pack them as we would like them to be packed when we order them: securely in a box.
NON-USA BUYERS please note: most books with an 'os' in our catalog number are over-size and will require additional shipping, which will be specified if you will send us an enquiry, or can be added after you have initiated an order.
Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. International shipping costs are based on octavo-sized books weighing under 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We will request extra shipping for multi-volume SETS going outside the USA, and for some books with our catalog number starting with 'os'
