First Edition (Limited Edition, this copy being number 477 of fifteen hundred copies), SIGNED by the author. Book is bound in clean ivory boards with brown title box, gold lettering on spine, dark green hexagonal decoration on cover with gold decorative AW initials, bevelled board edges; some browning to spine. No fraying or wear. All pages and edges are clean, clean endpapers - no previous owner markings. Foreword by Alexander Woollcott. 1010 pages.
