This is the sixth and final volume of the Scottish Text Society's edition of the works of the Scottish poet, playwright and publisher, Allan Ramsay (1684-1758). It contains an editor's introduction, bibliography, notes to the first five volumes, a glossary of Scots words in volumes III and IV, a biographical index, index of first lines, and a general index. The book is bound in the original green cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition with bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The book was issued in a tissue cover, which is present with a little damage to some corners and spine ends.
