Page 258 misnumbered 278."A catalogue of the several treatises" is unsigned and is mis-bound before A1, as often. Wing H381 The Volumes are in Very Good Condition, but in mismatched bindings. Sizes are identical. Volume one re-bound in twentieth century half calf over cloth boards, with expertly applied gilding to the spine, divided into seven compartments by six gilt & raised bands, with gold lettering in the second compartment from the top. Externally the boards and spine are lightly scuffed in general, with board corners bumped a bit. Internally the leaves are generally clean and well margined, with some small tears and stains at the margins on occasion. Volume Two in in newer full calf, Blank stamped boards with heraldic design to the Centre of boards. The spine in seven blind stamped compartments with six raised bands. A black lettering piece in the second compartment from the top with Volume number in the third compartment. The volumes measures, 32.8 x 23.5 x 9 cm. Each leaf measures 315 x 210 mm.
