The leather boards have some surface wear and discolouration and cracking at the top of the hinge at the top left corner of the front panel with some chipping along the edges and at the corners. The surface of the spine is worn with rubbing to the five raised bands and there is a little chipping at the top and bottom of the spine - the title panel is missing. The front and rear endpapers are heavily browned around the edges and there is a previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. One small hole to the front free endpaper. Light spotting to the pages in a few places and the pages are browned but otherwise largely clean and unmarked. The binding is tight and secure. First Collected edition. Seller Inventory # 018138
