NY: Hardware Poets Theater, 1963. 20pp. Sewn in printed wraps. Wraps rather toned, with some soiling. Contents clean. About very good. Brief collection of poems making witty and ironic commentary on various poetic tropes. Bloedow one of the founders of Hardware Poets Theatre, an avant-garde performance venue featuring plays, films, poetry readings, etc.; he also co-edited, with Diane Wakowski, the associated little mag Hardware Poets Occasional. A scarce publication from a somewhat overlooked New York literary scene, whose publications receive no note in Clay and Phillips' A Secret Location on the Lower East Side.

Unless otherwise noted, all books identified as first editions are also first printings.

Shipping Terms

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.

We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
