About the Author

Jonathan Monroe is Professor of Comparative Literature, Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences, and Director of the John S. Knight Institute for Writing in the Disciplines at Cornell University. Author of A Poverty of Objects: The Prose Poem and the Politics of Genre, he has published widely in the areas of modern and contemporary poetry and cross-genre writing.
