The Wrong Set : American edition : First printing

American edition, first printing, 1950. With original clipped jacket. The author's first book to be published in America. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, numerous tears, patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), severe fading/browning/marking to/near spine, creasing/rubbing to edges, foxing, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning/odd small marks/spots of foxing to reverse (white side), creasing/rubbing/browning/minor foxing to front/back inner flaps, patchy browning (especially to back) and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping/little fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers/pages are tanned. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.…
