Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. The Illustrated Modern Library, 1946, First Edition Thus. Bound in decorative boards with gilt spine and an acetate dust jacket with printed text on front. Absolutely gorgeous wood engraving illustrations by Fritz Eichenberg. The book is in Very good condition. Binding tight and solid, gilt on spine perfect, boards nice and bright, shelf wear to extremities. Contents are clean and bright with no writing in text. Neat owner bookplate pasted down. Amazing illustrations! The all-important glassine or acetate dust jacket is VERY GOOD+, complete with no chipping. Printing on dust jacket is bright and complete with slight rubbing to some of the text which is very rare. These dust jackets are usually missing and when present usually torn and exhibiting drastic wear.
