In the publisher's original quarter paper vellum with light blue paper boards.This is copy is a limited edition, being one of two hundred large paper copies.A collection of poetry written during the period from the end of the Boer War until the end of the First World War. The poems include: The Choice, The Dead King, A Death-Bed, The Declaration of London, The Female of the Species, and many others. Written by Rudyard Kipling, an English novelist, poet, and journalist, best known for his work The Jungle Book. In the publisher's original quarter paper vellum with paper boards. Externally, generally smart. Spotting to boards with slight damp staining to perimeter of rear board. One or two slight handling marks to boards. Spine slightly age toned. Two small chips to spine label, not obscuring text. Slight rubbing to spine, boards and extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Slight damp staining to front paste down. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to rough cut fore edge. Lower fore edge slightly cockled. Good.
