1880. First Edition. 285 pages. No dust jacket. Rebound red cloth with gilt lettering. Contains ex-libris plate belonging to Phyllis Davies. Book has a slight smoky odour. Pages are mildly tanned with visible foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Notable thumb-marking present. Mild staining to some pages. Faint pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Bookseller sticker to rear pastedown. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild scratching and marking to boards.
