First edition (hardback). 12mo (19cm by 12cm), [xxiv], 292pp, 4pp table, 14 folding plates at the back of the book (numbered 1-13, plus a duplicate of plate 13). Contemporart full brown panelled calf, later red morocco title label to the spine with gilt titling. The binding has been rebacked at some point in the past, there is some rubbing and bumping of the boards, some tanning and spotting of the contents, and annotation to the blank pages at the front of the book. Overall a sound, good copy. Leaves A1 and A2 are both title pages, with stlightly different text.
