First edition, large 8vo, pp. xiv, 151, [1]; 15 tipped-in plates reproducing watercolors by the author, as well as numerous small pen and ink sketches by him in the margins; a very good, sound, and clean copy in original green cloth decorated in gilt on the upper cover and spine. Rundall was killed in action in 1914 (in the same battle that took his brother as well). The book is a series of stories of hunting adventures, told from both the hunter's point of view and the hunted. Yakushi R395.
