Extra is a Roneo document of a n internal item relating to the benefit of an increase in gasoline octane of 10 units, in fair condition with creases,dirt, edge tears. From net found Sir Diarmuid Downs 1922 - 2014 was a automotive engineer with Ricardo & Co., first as student, then as a member of staff, and Head of the Petrol Engine Department in 1949, whose fundamental study of abnormal combustion phenomena in the petrol engine, resulting in a clearer understanding of the problems of knock and preignition.Downs rose to become Managing Director then Chairman of the company, he also became President of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and as President the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies, and a Fellow of the Royal Society, and the Royal Academy of Engineering. He lso became Sir Diarmuid Downs. As Confidential only a limited number produced & not for sale .
