First impression, first state Binding A. 4� x 7�? pp. 256. First published 1964. Hardback in original black cloth (Type C) with gilt Chinese characters to front and silver lettering to spine. Bamboo coloured endpapers. Firmly bound. Contents clean with no tanning foxing or marks. Some foxing to edges. Signature on ffep. In good dust wrapper which is not price clipped (16s). All for corners of the wrapper clipped as is normal. Triangular loss to bottom of spine with maximum height of 1". Gilbert A12a (1.1).
