I love my time : The 80*81 Book Collection Part 7 (English)

Z : 17,5 x 25 cm, 128 pages - 80*81 is a retrospective research by Christopher Roth and Georg Diez. Roth and Diez are investigating a central question for a year and in collaboration with artists, astrologers, philosophers, psychologists, writers, film directors and actors: What actually happened? Back in 1980, when Reagan was elected president, when Pope John Paul II met with Lech Walesa, when Andy Warhol met William Burroughs for dinner at the Chelsea Hotel, when John Galliano was a Blitz Kid? And what happened in 1981, when the hostages of Ayatollah Khomeini were released five minutes after Reagan became president? When Ali Agca shot at Pope John Paul II, when CNN and MTV were founded, when GPS made every place visible at any time? When AIDS appeared? During these years, the way the world thought, felt, looked, worked, reacted changed. In the eleven books of the 80*81 Book Collection, this change is reconstructed.
