Designed as a sequel to Sanders' fourth reader : part first, containing full instructions in the rhetorical principles of reading or speaking, illustrated by numerous examples, part second, consisting of elegant extracts in prose and poetry from various eloquent writers, accompanied with notes explanatory of such historical or classical allusions, as the several lessons contain : for the use of academies and the highest classes in common and select schools. xii, 456 p. ; 19 cm. The interior of the book shows scattered foxing, but mostly quite light. Previous owner's name and date [1857] to the inside of the boards. Tight binding inbrown cloth with blind-stamped designes and the publisher's name, with a black leather spine, gilt titles. Wear to the edges but qute light. NB - Postal Rates shown by ABE are often incorrect and are vague estimates NOT guaranteed rates. We use Canada Post, the United States Postal Service and Asendia and try to offer very competitive postal charges - based on actual costs, no overcharging. Images are available. Shipped well packed. We use both Canada Post and the United States Postal Service whichever is cheapest for the customer.
