Original Engraving from "Britannia Depicta; A Series of Views (with brief descriptions) of the most interesting and picturesque objects in Great Britain. Part III containing thirteen views of Cheshire". From a collection of prints published in 1810 that were intended to be bound into copies of the famous topographical series "Magna Britannia" by Daniel and Samuel Lysons that was planned to cover all the counties of Britain. In the event only volumes covering the first six counties were published. This engraving has wide margins with light browning to edges. Plate size 11 1/4" x 9" (285mm x 225mm).
