Full colour illustrated boards, bumped and rubbed with significant shelfwear to all edges. Cloth spine crushed to top and base. Binding weak, boards beginning to detach. Tanned endpapers, decorated with b/w cartoons. Illustrated half-title page with sepia frontispiece photograph on verson. Next free endpaper has blind embossed ownership stamp and Christmas gift inscription from 1927. Full colour frontispiece opposite title page. 256pp. Pagination complete but many pages are loose or detached, some pages have tears or other damage, others have old tape repairs.
