Owner's inscription in pencil on front wrap, and again on first blank. Shelf mark on spine. Else crisp, tight, unread copy in near fine condition. Provenance: Dr. Lawrence Norton Morscher (1910-1992). The first public account of the Manhattan Project, which commissioned a stellar collection of scientists and engineers under the direction of J. Robert Oppenheimer to produce an atomic weapon during the Second World War.
