Synopsis
Una bruja de internet, doce meses y una sucesión infinita de mercurios retrógrados.
En su debut narrativo, Charas Vega (@charcastrology) escribe una historia que gustará a todos aquellos que alguna vez han ojeado su horóscopo con la esperanza de culpar a las estrellas de sus desgracias en la Tierra.
Cat acaba de terminar Periodismo y se enfrenta a un futuro poco prometedor, sin expectativas laborales y con muchas dudas. Cuando por fin consigue un trabajo en un periódico digital, le asignan la sección de la que menos idea tiene: los horóscopos semanales.
Llena de escepticismo, decide aceptarlo con la condición de escribir bajo el seudónimo Paranormal Paquita. Como no sabe ni lo que es una carta astral, a Cat no le quedará otra que inspirarse en sus amigos, sus citas y las fiestas a las que la invitan para hacer las predicciones semanales sin que sepan que cualquiera puede ser el protagonista de su siguiente publicación. Pero todo se complica cuando, debido a su tono cínico e hiriente, se convierte en una celebridad digital.
¿Hasta cuándo podrá esta bruja de internet ocultar su identidad sin perder a sus amigos? ¿Podrán ayudarla los astros?

In her narrative debut, Charas Vega (@charcastrology) writes a story that will appeal to all those who have ever looked at their Horoscope in the hope of blaming the stars for their misfortunes on Earth.
Cat has just finished the school of Journalism and faces a bleak future, with no job prospects and many doubts. When she finally gets a job at an online newspaper, she is assigned to the section she has the least idea about: the weekly horoscopes.
Full of skepticism, she decides to accept it on the condition that she will write under the pseudonym “Paranormal Paquita”. Since she doesn't even know what a Birth Chart is, Cat will have no choice but to be inspired by her friends, her dates, and the parties she’s invited. All to make weekly predictions without anyone knowing that they can be the star of her next publication. But everything gets complicated when, due to her cynical and hurtful tone, she becomes a digital celebrity.
How long this Internet witch will be able to hide her identity without losing her friends? Can the stars help her?

Charas Vega es la persona que hay detrás de @charcastrology, la cuenta de Instagram que en menos de un año se ha convertido en la referencia de humor y astrología para miles de usuarios. Como tanta gente de su generación, recordaba con incomodidad los horóscopos de revistas como la Superpop, así que decidió reinventarlos relacionando el cine, la actualidad o incluso los tipos de queso con los astros. Astróloga y bruja de internet, como ella se define, estudió cine, ha desarrollado diferentes guiones y también escribe crítica cinematográfica en varios medios. Esta es su primera novela.
