We're here to help: What we learnt from saving a 140-year-old charity and how you can make your organisation flourish

This is the book that we wish we had when we first started running an organisation. It provides a structure, tools and a means of understanding your charity and your role in it.

Paul Bott is Chief Executive of SJOG and has worked and volunteered in charitable organisations for the past 30 years. Paul was recognised as the Third Sector Leader of the year in 2021

Dr Lisa Alcorn is SJOG's Chief Operating Officer. Lisa specialises in Autism and Positive Behaviour Support; work that has been recognised by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities PBS International Awards and the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards.Dr Jamie Mackrill is SJOG's Chief Development Officer. Jamie lectured in human-centred design and human factors at Imperial College London and the Royal School of Art before moving into the charity sector to develop services, projects and platforms that meet the needs of the people we are here to support.

Leanne Welford is SJOG's Chief Finance Officer and Company Secretary. Leanne is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA. Leanne worked in the private sector before she moved to the charity sector and is passionate about making finance integral to achieving outcomes for the people we support. Leanne and SJOG's Finance Team were recognised as the Charity Finance Team of the Year 2021
