It originated in response to the difficulties encountered by teachers in terms of practicing the CPD strategies which are an aspects of educational reforms currently imposed by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

About the Author

Suhaila designed a peer coaching programme for Grade Two teachers of the first cycle of basic education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The research reveals that the designed programme is an effective form of PD because the teachers took ownership of the approach in meeting their professional needs.
