I wanted to create the book I wish I'd had when I was trying to learn.

So many jQuery and JavaScript books assume a background in coding and it can be really tough as a designer to learn all the right words and concepts while also trying to learn the language. I tried to make learning a bit of code fun and interesting and completely non-scary.
