Blue cloth with yellow lettering to front and spine. Binding strong.Ownership name and address to ffep. Frontispiece b/w illustration. vi, 138pp., b/w plates and diagrams. Plate after p. 138 is detached from the block and frayed to edge. A few foxing spots, otherwise contents clean and bright. Sir Richard van der Riet Woolley OBE FRS (24 April 1906 24 December 1986) was an English astronomer who became the eleventh Astronomer Royal.
