The leopard of the zoma

A gripping tale of defiance, identity, and the unbreakable human spirit.

History is recorded in the ledgers of merchants and the ink of empires, but the true story of the Middle Passage is written in scars and forged in the fire of resistance.

The Leopard of the Zoma follows the harrowing yet transformative journey of Kelwa, a proud son of the Zoma tribe. Betrayed by his own kin and sold into the brutal machinery of the transatlantic slave trade, Kelwa is stripped of his freedom, but never his soul. From the ancient, lush forests of the African interior to the blood-stained decks of privateer ships and the grueling labor of American plantations, he carries with him a single, sacred artifact: a bronze bracelet.

This bracelet is more than just metal; it is a bridge to his ancestors and a constant reminder of who he truly is. While the world tries to brand him as "cargo," Kelwa remembers the strength of the leopard. He is not a victim-he is a hunter waiting for his moment.

Follow Kelwa's journey from the depths of darkness back toward the light of home. The Leopard of the Zoma is an essential read for fans of historical fiction, stories of survival, and narratives that honor the strength of the human heart.
