An original complete 8 page Supplement - one of a series that were issued on a variety of trades in the 1840s with the title A DAY AT ., The PENNY MAGAZINE of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge was an educational weekly publication which started publication in March 1832 & continued to 1845, each issue was 8 pages and was illustrated with woodcuts. The newspaper style magazine is nearly 200 years old & may contain light foxing or age discolouration, but having been loosely bound into a book it is unfolded & generally in nice clean condition.
