Kenneth Rexroth was a co-founding editor shortly before his death. Issue 1 is a Festschrift in honour of James Laughlin, publisher of New Directions. Issue 6 contains a special section 'Toward a Human Poetics', a selection of papers read at the 'Symposium of the Whole' conference in LA.
