About this Item
Vintage magazine edited by Gerald B. Winrod, a controversial figure and American fascist who claimed to be a Christian, yet was staunchly anti semitic, and a Hitler sympathizer who thought that the Nazis would cleanse Europe of Communism. During World War II, Winrod was charged with sedition, yet the charges were later dropped.Paper cover illustrated with a photograph of a cactus landscape with horse and rider, all in black and white. Simple fold at the spine without staples or stitching. This issue includes articles by various authors from clergy and evangelists, other editors, and Gerald B. Winrod. Also includes many advertisements, several of which are about prophecy, Armageddon, and the Second Coming of Christ. Illustrated with artwork throughout in black and white. 32 pp. SOME ARTICLE TITLES IN THIS ISSUE ARE THE FOLLOWING:"Father Winrod, 'Absent From the Body.Present with the Lord'" by Dr. Gerald B. Winrod"Great Protestant Protest Needed" by Dr. H. B. Sandine, Editor of "The Congregational Beacon""Murder In A Church Yard" by Rev. Lee C. Fisher"Petra - Most Mysterious City in the World" by Dr. J. A light crease is present at a diagonal on the cover but does not compromise text. A fascinating look into the mind of extreme political views from the early/mid 20th century in America.
