Condition original paperback binding fair, with 2 edge tears top approx 3cm & 1cm , some corner folding, minor edge wear, small stain, minor owner ink marks, rear good, minor corner tip folding, wear/ageing. Contents Fair, mostly good and clean, minimal foxing mostly to edges. The illustration is detached, looks like it may have been detached when issued. Size 20. 5 x 27.75 in mostly good condition, minor ageing, ink to bottom left July 1876. Please Note, we cannot be sure it came from this issue, not dated, from a copy of Le Follet and published by Edward Minister & Son. for Millinery, Gask and Gask This is No. 358 July 1876 Vol. 30. inside of binding front & rear are adverts, rear cover is an advert for Gask and Gask.To top of front cover is printed under the Patronage of Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, with an illustration of the Royal coat-of-arms. This was the English edition of the French edition, this edition was printed by Clayton & Co in London. It was one of the most influential fashion magazines of it s time (1846-1900). At time of listing we were unable to find another copy of Le Follet for sale, just illustrations for sale, no actual magazines (except our other copies of different dates). Size: 21.75 x 28cm Apporx.
