8vo hardbound collection of issues of this scarce magazine for children. Seems to have started in July or August of 1850. First volume has 192 pages second section has 160 pages + at end is another copy of the first issue with a title page. In between volume i and 2 is a 4 page song sheet titled Skater's Glee. Binding is shot and a few pages are loose with a little minor foxing. A very scarce early magazine. Illustrated. Seller Inventory # 4155
