An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated May 20th 1916 featuring a main article on Llanvihangel Court in Monmouthshire, The Seat of Mrs. Attwood-Mathews, 5 page write up with black and white illustrations of the house exterior and gardens and interior of the King Charles' bedroom. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers and renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was over 100 years ago. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Ursula Grosvenor. Seller Inventory # 005942
