Has a (to me) incomprehensible editorial about Jacobins and Jefferson, rumors of Napoleon's invasion of Holland, a report of 2 ships captured by pirates at Guadaloupe, and an interesting bit from New orleans, a 'remonstrance': ".that the act passed by last Congress for the government of Louisiana be annulled, and particularly that part respecting the slave trade:- that the French language be preserved in all our judiciary and civil proceedings; that we be immediately acknowledged as a State, and enjoy as such the privilege of appointing our own Executive Council.".
