1724 Map of the Netherlands by Christoph Weigel the Elder. Part of the Atlas Manualis Scholasticus Et Itinerarius Complectens Novae Geographiae. Hand-colored, copper-engraved map in good condition, with slight wear to edges and corners. Map measures approximately 14.75 x 17.25 . Copy of original book title attached to the back. Please see photos. Christoph Weigel the Elder (1654-1725) was a German engraver, cartographer, and publisher who published dozens of books and maps during his lifespan. This map is part of a larger collection, and has been beautifully preserved throughout the years.
