Unless the return is due to an error on the part of New World Cartographic or the item arrives damaged, the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
Most of our material is shipped rolled in a sturdy tube that is then packed in a rectangular box. Any items shipped flat will be reinforced to prevent being bent during shipping. We typically ship via UPS ground for domestic buyers (within the United States) and either UPS, DHL, or USPS International Priority for shipments outside of the United States.
